Random Acts of Kindness Day

Kindness is one of those little things in life that can go a long way. I find it refreshing and inspiring that Random Acts of Kindness Day is two days after Valentine’s Day. It is one day that can easily be stretched into everyday and is rooted in love. Kindness is something we desperately need more of, inside of local communities as well as outside. In honor of this need along with this devoted day, here are:

25 ways in which you can start-and continue-to spread kindness.

  1. Hold doors open for others

  2. Donate clothes or toys

  3. Donate coloring books to a children's hospital

  4. Park in the back of the lot when there are spots up close

  5. Hold the elevator

  6. Say good morning to everyone

  7. Put a thank you card out/snack for mail person/UPS/AMAZON

  8. Donate to an animal shelter

  9. Leave a lucky penny (heads up) where ever you go

  10. Make a baked good and drop it to a neighbor

  11. Send holiday cards to a nursing home

  12. Leave money taped to a vending machine

  13. Volunteer at a local shelter

  14. Let someone go ahead of you inline

  15. Donate used books to a library or school

  16. Leave 100% tip (even if it's on $2)

  17. Drop coffee/donuts off to first responders
